Manhattan Periodontist, Dr. Ferris Elhein, DDS

Dr. Ferris Elhein is a board-certified periodontist & a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology known for his expertise and commitment in the field of periodontology. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry, graduating on the Dean’s List and as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. His pursuit of excellence continued at New York Presbyterian – Weill Cornell in General Dentistry, followed by specialty training in periodontics at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident.

Specializing in immediate implants, soft tissue augmentation, and peri-implantitis treatment, Dr. Ferris Elhein is also certified in Minimally Invasive Soft Tissue Grafting for Teeth and Implants and skilled in laser treatment for periodontitis. His approach to periodontal care emphasizes the latest techniques and individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best outcomes for his patients.

During his dental education, Dr. Ferris Elhein himself as Dental School President and Vice President. He has presented at national conferences, sharing his knowledge and experiences with peers in the field. Dr. Ferris Elhein combines a strong educational background, advanced clinical skills, and a passion for providing personalized care, making him a distinguished figure in periodontology. Dr. Elhein participates with MetLife PPO, Delta PPO, & Cigna PPO and is currently accepting new patients!

A California native, Dr. Elhein enjoys an active lifestyle, including football, basketball, and working out. During his downtime, he enjoys movies and video gaming.
