Meet Dr. Gursky

Dr. Alyssa Gursky began her dental education at Harvard University and continued her training at Columbia School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1991 and her Certificate in Periodontics in 1993. She was honored with the Alumni Award for Excellence in Periodontics, the Pierre Fauchard Award as well as the Academy of Dental Material Award. Dr. Gursky went on to become an Assistant Clinical Instructor of Dentistry at Columbia, involved in clinical and didactic teaching. She was co-director of the Senior Periodontic Treatment Planning Seminar and guest lectured in the oral diagnostic seminars in conjunction with the medical school.
Dr. Gursky has served as a Trustee for the Columbia Periodontal Alumni Association. Today, she is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, the Northeast Society of Periodontists, New York County Dental Society and has been elected as a Fellow to the New York Academy of Dentistry. She is a Certified LANAP Clinician. Dr. Gursky resides in Westchester, NY and is married, with three children.
